Behind the notes

A slower look
at Finland.

This journal is a place to keep the small things that are easy to forget: the colour of a lake before the sun reaches it, the smell of wet spruce, and the particular quiet of a snowy morning.

These notes follow journeys through Finland without trying to make a list of places to see. They are an invitation to notice the space between destinations, and how a familiar landscape changes with the light.

There is no fixed route or schedule here. Just photographs, a few words, and room for the seasons to unfold.
